SAU CLUB SPORTS ATHLETE ELIGIBILITY RULES
Varsity Status:

All varsity athletes must be students​ ​enrolled at SAU. The number of credit hours required for varsity status and the total years of eligibility may vary depending upon the governing body of the particular club sport. Varsity club sports athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or greater, must be in good standing with the university, must have completed all required application and waiver forms, and must have proof of health insurance.

Club Status:

Club status athletes may fall into one of several categories, as approved by the club sports program director, team captain, and or coaches. They may include: part-time students, early college students, school staff/faculty/coaches (full or part time), and alumni. Club status athletes may compete in an unlimited number of seasons, depending upon the governing body rules of the particular sport. Club status athletes must be in good standing with the university, must have completed all required application and waiver forms, and must have paid all required fees.
